Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the book.me platform (available at trybook.me), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, you may not use our services.
These terms apply to all users, including business owners who claim and manage pages, and visitors who browse business pages.
Description of Service
book.me is a platform that automatically generates landing pages for local businesses using publicly available data from Google Maps. Our services include:
- Page Generation — Automated creation of business landing pages from Google Business profile data
- Page Hosting — Hosting of generated pages on the trybook.me domain
- Analytics — Tracking of visitor interactions (CTA clicks, page views, direction requests)
- Page Management — Tools for business owners to edit and customize their pages
Account Registration
To claim and manage a business page, you must create an account. You agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete registration information
- Maintain the security of your account credentials
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account
- Accept responsibility for all activity that occurs under your account
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
Business Page Ownership
Claiming a Page
- You may only claim a business page if you are the owner or an authorized representative of that business
- We may require verification of your relationship to the business
- Fraudulent claims may result in immediate account termination
Demo Pages
- book.me may generate demo pages for businesses that have not been claimed
- Demo pages are clearly marked and include a watermark
- Demo pages may be removed at our discretion after 90 days of inactivity
Content Responsibility
- You are responsible for the accuracy of any content you manually edit on your business page
- Auto-generated content is created from publicly available data and AI processing — we do not guarantee its accuracy
- You agree not to publish misleading, defamatory, or illegal content on your page
Subscriptions and Payments
Plans
- Starter (Free) — Basic auto-generated page with demo watermark
- Pro (Paid) — Full features including custom domain, analytics, no watermark, and priority support
Billing
- Paid subscriptions are billed monthly or annually through Stripe
- Prices are listed in PLN and may be updated with 30 days notice
- All payments are non-refundable unless otherwise required by applicable law
Cancellation
- You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings
- Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period
- Upon cancellation, your page reverts to the Starter plan features
Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use book.me for any unlawful purpose
- Claim business pages you are not authorized to manage
- Scrape, copy, or redistribute content from other users' pages
- Attempt to interfere with or disrupt the platform's infrastructure
- Upload malicious code, viruses, or harmful content
- Circumvent or disable any security features of the platform
- Use the platform to send unsolicited communications (spam)
Violation of these rules may result in immediate suspension or termination of your account.
Intellectual Property
Our Property
- The book.me platform, design, code, and branding are owned by us
- The AI-generated content structure and templates are our intellectual property
- You may not copy, modify, or distribute our platform or its components
Your Content
- You retain ownership of any original content you upload (photos, text edits)
- By uploading content, you grant us a non-exclusive license to display it on your business page
- This license terminates when you delete the content or your account
Third-Party Content
- Google Maps data, reviews, and photos are subject to Google's Terms of Service
- We use this data under the Google Places API Terms of Service
- Business photos sourced from Google remain subject to their original rights holders
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- book.me is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind
- We do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or secure service
- We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
- Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim
- We are not responsible for the accuracy of auto-generated content or third-party data
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold book.me harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from:
- Your use of the platform
- Your violation of these terms
- Your violation of any third-party rights
- Content you upload or publish on your business page
Modifications to Terms
We may update these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of book.me after changes constitutes acceptance.
For material changes, we will provide notice via email or a prominent notice on the platform at least 14 days before the changes take effect.
Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account and access to the platform at any time, with or without cause and with or without notice. Upon termination:
- Your right to use the platform ceases immediately
- We may delete your account data within 30 days
- Provisions that by their nature should survive (liability, indemnification, IP) will remain in effect
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Poland. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Warsaw, Poland, unless mandatory consumer protection laws of your jurisdiction provide otherwise.
For users in the European Union, nothing in these terms affects your rights under applicable EU consumer protection legislation.
